A couple weeks ago, I wrote a post about Augmented Reality and how I thought it will be a big part of the mobile Real Estate world (see: The Future of Mobile Real Estate – Augmented Reality). In that post I posed a couple of questions, which to my surprise, were both answered very quickly by a single announcement (see: A Trulia Layer on Your Phone? Wow, That is So Cool!)
So, Trulia is the first US player in the Real Estate market to jump on the opportunity to implement something that could be a game changer in the marketing world. Definitely cool! I look forward to getting to play with it once it hits the streets.
In the meantime, Layar (the company behind the AR layering technology) released a list of some other global players in the Real Estate category. Check it out here. I have a feeling there will be many more to come in the very near future. Stay tuned!
